Egra, West Bengal: West Bengal Chief Minister officially apologizes to the people of Egra due to the blast at an illegal fire crackers factory at local area of Purna Medinipur. The blast incident at the Purba Medinipur area occurred on May 16, after which today on May 27 Banerjee apologize for As per the new reports at least twelve people have lost their life after the tragic accident. Several people at the illegal factory got severely injured after the tragic accident at Egra. CM Mamata Banerjee itself visited the accident zone and met with the injured people and families of the dead. Banerjee announced compensation to the dead people and injured victims of Egra Blast accident.
Chief Minister of West Bengal has distributed a compensation cheque to the effected families. Banerjee also handed over appointment letter for home guard jobs to the one member of each families of victims. Mamata Banerjee asked the local residence to inform legal authorities if they saw any kind of illegal activities like an fire cracker factory. CM acknowledged, “this accident would not have happened if the work had been done by taking the right measures”. But after, the fire cracker factory was illegal mean it was unauthorised due to which the blast accident happened. So it was important to take proper measures to work in a fire crackers factory.

The High Court of the state has denied to hand over the Egra Blast case to the NIA. After that the court asked the State CID to look deep into the case and found the ultimate real reason behind the Egra Fire Crackers Factory Blast. [Report Source: PTI]
