Kolkata, West Bengal: Congress MP Adhir Chowdhury requested Election Commission to take proper action to maintain law and order in West Bengal amid Panchayat Election 2023.
“As situation in the state uses to turn into terrorising” Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury alleged. As per ANI, Congress MP Adhir Chowdhury officially sent letter to WB Election Commissioner Rajiva Sinha to take proper measures to maintain law and order during upcoming Panchayat election of West Bengal.
Adhir Chowdhury especially requested connecting to Domkal block of Murshidabad. Chowdhury added, “during elections, a terrorising situation being created by miscreants connected to TMC in the area”.

Congress MP Adhir Chowdhury directly point out TMC behind such terrorising activities that often arisen during elections in the areas of Murshidabad. Congress leader and biggest opposition leader of West Bengal directly pointed to take attention to the unlawful and terrorising situation being created by TMC miscreants.
“Miscreants used to take allegiance from the ruling party to carry out terror activities during elections” Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury mentioned in the letter. Moreover, he added “a reign of terror has been created in the area to prevent aspirants from participating in Panchayat elections” Chowdhury alleged.
As per the letter by AD Chowdhury, the terrorising goons owing allegiance from the ruling party for carrying dangerous weapons and blackmailing aspirants to stay away from the BDO Office, Domkal right under the glare of the police. “A Cosmetic action taken by the police of arresting few of the goons, only to be released soon” Chowdhury alleged in relating to the ruling party of West Bengal.
