Sewri Area, Mumbai: Anti Narcotics Cell [ANC] of the Azad unit Crime Branch has successfully arrested two drug dealers who operated in the Sewri Area of Mumbai. The drug peddlers were charged with possession of approximately 150 grams of Mepehdrone (MD). The estimated cost of the drugs is 30 lakhs. A case has been filed against the two drug dealers by the Anti-Narcotics Cell. The case was registered under the “Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act” report says. Their main location of operation was in the Sewri area of Mumbai, the sources said. Mumbai Police currently investigating the case jointly with the Anti Narcotics Cell.
Azad Unit Crime Branch is mainly working on drug dealing issues, the unit has arrested two peddlers lately by today. As per reliable sources, the accused who have been arrested are identified as Mohammed Arif Khan and Mohammed Irfan Khan. The report added they both are local residents of the Sewri Area of Mumbai.

The drug peddler arrest raid in the Sewri Area is the second major drug bust in Mumbai this month. As per sources, on June 17, 2023, ANC arrested a man with 300 grams of Mephedrone which was worth 30 lakhs in the international market. Mumbai Police are working continuously to step down drug trafficking activities in the city. Through the past few months, several police investigations have been carried out to seize large quantities of drugs. ALSO READ: K.
