Kochi, Kerala: Chief of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee Sudhakaran was arrested on Friday and released on bail. He was accused of a cheating case relating to antique laundering. Sudhakaran is a Member of the Lok Sabha and currently, he is the chief member of KPCC.
The prime accused is the controversial antique dealer Monson Mavunkal. The KPCC chief was released after hours of interrogation with the Crime Branch. As per media sources, Sudhakaran told the media persons he believed in the Judiciary of India, and he is ready to face the case in court.

As per reliable sources, KPCC chief was arrested after an FIR was filed by a businessman. As per the FIR, the businessman alleged Sudhakaran and Mavunkal for cheating. The victim added, “I had paid 1 Crore INR to Mavunkal for antiques but they never delivered to me. Latest reports says, Crime Branch investigating the case and arrested the prime accused, Monson Mavunkal who has been primarily involved in antique cheating case.
