Communal violence in Manipur started in May of 2023 and it is far-reaching in the very upcoming days. Congress MP Manish Tewari criticized PM Modi, he said: “If the PM believes that his head bows in shame regarding the Manipur incident, then why he is hesitating to come to the house and say this..”. Manish Tewari criticized the administration of Manipur because of a lack of control over communal violence between the Meitei and Kuki communities. Manish Tewari asked the Prime Minister “why PM Modi hesitated to confront the situation and give a statement regarding Manipur violence in the Parliamentary houses”.
