Kurla, Mumbai: The situation became worse in Kurla Station of the Harbour line. Waterlogging caused the railway station to be closed for the upcoming days for the safety of passengers. The suburban train services have been temporarily closed for safety and precautionary measures. The Central government took this step to respond to the ongoing waterlogging situation in the city. As per sources, the Harbour line down from Wadala to Mankhurd section has been closed due to waterlogging. Rest all sections are running except Wadala to Mankhurd.

As of now, all other railway tracks are running continuously and are operational. The Harbour Line’s down services from Wadala to Mankhurd will remain affected until the improvement of the waterlogging situation in Kurla railway station. As the down harbour line will continue to be affected for upcoming days until any improvement. But despite the situation of down harbour lines due to bad weather, upper harbour lines will continue to run as per the regular schedule.
