The Bollywood movie “Animal”, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana, has made a massive impact on the industry since its release on 1 December 2023. The movie has been a huge success and has influenced the industry in a significant way. The director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has announced that he will be making a sequel to this blockbuster movie, titled “Animal Park”.
Both the lead characters of the “Animal”, Ranbir Kapoor attended an interview during its OTT release. Ranbir mentioned during the interview about its sequel, saying “Sandeep Reddy Vanga has one or two scenes ready, which he narrated to me, and they are very exciting. Now because of the success of part one, he(Sandeep) has the confidence and courage to go even darker, deeper, and more complex.
During the interview, Ranbir also shared his thoughts on criticism against the “Animal” movie. Kapoor said, “There is a very healthy conversation that has started about toxic masculinity also, which is a great thing because cinema, at least, starts a conversation on this mentality of the society.
Ranbir also said it is a very different way we should look at this concept. Kapoor said, about toxic masculinity, “If something is wrong, if you don’t show that it is wrong, and unless conversation starts in the society, we will never be able to realize what is going wrong in this way.
